    1. Definitions

    • You, Your – The customer booking or attending our services.

    • Services – Includes public play sessions, party hire, and school/preschool events provided by Tiny Town Limited.

    • Equipment – All materials, toys, role-play structures, and items owned by Tiny Town Limited.

    • Session – A public play session lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes, or a party/event of agreed-upon length.

    • Booking System – Our online booking platform used for public sessions.

    2. Contract Agreement

    • A legally binding contract is formed when you book via our booking system or confirm a party/event with us directly (in writing or verbally).

    • Please review these Terms & Conditions before booking. By booking, you agree to them.

    3. Service Provision

    • We commit to delivering services with care, skill, and in compliance with New Zealand laws and safety standards.

    • Public sessions occur at various Christchurch indoor venues (details provided at booking).

    • For parties and school/preschool events, we perform a venue risk assessment before confirming any booking.

    4. Venue Responsibility

    • You are responsible for arriving at the correct venue. Tiny Town is not liable for errors during booking.

    • For private venues (parties/schools), you agree to ensure the venue is clean, safe, and accessible.

    • You agree to cover costs for any damages caused to the venue or Tiny Town equipment by your child or guests.

    5. Timing & Cancellations

    • If Tiny Town cannot deliver the service (e.g., illness, unforeseen event), you will receive a transfer or full refund.

    • Public Sessions: No refunds for missed sessions. Transfers allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice, space permitting.

    • Parties & Events: Cancellations within 14 days of event date are non-refundable. Transfers are case-by-case and depend on availability.

    6. Payment

    • All services must be paid in full at time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

    • Pricing is listed on our website or provided via quote.

    7. Supervision & Conduct

    • A parent/caregiver must supervise their child at all times.

    • Children must use equipment appropriately and safely.

    • No food or drink is allowed inside play areas.

    • Anyone unwell should not attend. Let us know as early as possible if you're unable to attend due to illness – transfers may be possible.

    • You are responsible for personal belongings. Tiny Town is not liable for loss/damage.

    • You may take photos for personal use only; respect the privacy of others and gain permission before photographing other children.

    8. Our Commitments

    • Equipment is safety-checked and cleaned regularly.

    • Staff will be present during sessions, parties, and events.

    • Numbers are managed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience (e.g., child limit per session).

    • We operate in compliance with NZ health and safety legislation.

    9. Refusal of Entry

    We reserve the right to refuse entry if:

    • You or your child are visibly unwell.

    • You arrive without a child for a public session.

    • You appear under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

    • You have not booked or paid in advance.

    10. Liability

    • Tiny Town does not limit liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence.

    • We are only liable for losses reasonably foreseeable from a breach of contract.

    • We are not liable for loss of profit, enjoyment, or indirect damages.

    • Our liability is limited to a reasonable level under New Zealand law and is covered by public liability insurance.

    • Private Hire means our services provided at a venue secured by you, such as for a birthday party, school, preschool, or community group event.

    • Premises refers to the venue where services will be delivered.

    • Services refers to the play sessions or party/event delivery provided by Tiny Town Limited.

    2. Booking and Payment

    2.1 A booking is confirmed when you complete our booking form and pay the full amount due.

    2.2 No booking is secured until full payment has been received.

    2.3 By making a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

    2.4 We advise you to read these Terms before booking. If you have any questions, contact us prior to booking.

    3. Venue and Risk Assessments

    3.1 If you hire the Premises, you are responsible for:

    • All venue hire costs.

    • Ensuring the venue is indoors only, has an even surface, and is suitable for up to 30 children.

    • Booking the venue for the agreed date and time, allowing 1.5 hours before and after for setup and pack-down.

    • Informing us of any venue-specific rules at least 7 days in advance.

    3.2 If we hire the Premises, we cover all associated costs and will:

    • Prepare the space for setup and pack down.

    • Grant you access only at the allocated time, ensuring no disruption to previous events.

    • Require you to vacate promptly at the agreed end time.

    • Restrict unauthorised décor or entertainment without prior consent.

    • Ask that rubbish is disposed of appropriately.

    • Require indemnity for any venue damage caused by you or your attendees.

    3.3 Tiny Town Limited conducts a risk assessment for all venues prior to confirming any booking. We reserve the right to cancel or suggest alternative arrangements if the venue is unsuitable.

    4. Services Provided

    4.1 Tiny Town Limited will:

    • Deliver services for up to 30 children at your Premises on the agreed date.

    • Use safe, clean, and high-quality Equipment.

    • Always have a staff member present during the event.

    • Operate in compliance with New Zealand laws and safety standards.

    5. Timing and Cancellations

    5.1 If we cancel, you will receive a full refund.

    5.2 If you cancel:

    • More than 7 days before the event: 50% refund.

    • Less than 7 days before the event: No refund (as staff and resources are committed).

    5.3 If additional time is required beyond the agreed hire period, we will charge an hourly rate, subject to availability.

    6. Your Responsibilities

    6.1 During the event, you must:

    • Be present or ensure a responsible adult is present throughout the event.

    • Inform us 7 days prior if other entertainment (e.g., bouncy castles) will be at the venue. We reserve the right to refuse services if setup cannot be safely accommodated.

    • Monitor children to ensure safe use of Equipment and prevent food/drinks near play zones.

    • Ensure all attendees are in good health and not unwell.

    • Adhere to any health & safety rules applicable to the venue.

    • Obtain consent before taking any photos or videos. Any media taken must be for personal use only.

    • Tiny Town Limited is not responsible for personal belongings brought to the event.

    7. Our Rights to Refuse Services

    7.1 We may refuse to provide services if:

    • Attendees show signs of illness.

    • Anyone is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    • The number of children exceeds 30.

    • Payment has not been received in full.

    8. Liability

    8.1 We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

    8.2 We are not responsible for:

    • Loss of enjoyment, profit, or any indirect/consequential losses.

    • Damage to personal items.

    • Events beyond our control, including delays or cancellations due to venue issues.

    8.3 We maintain public liability insurance and will provide details upon request.

  • Tiny Town Limited – Play Pass Terms & Conditions

    These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of Tiny Town Play Passes, offered by Tiny Town Limited (Christchurch, NZ).

    What is a Play Pass?

    • Our Tiny Town Play Pass allows you to purchase 5 general session entries and receive 1 session free.

    • The Play Pass is valid for general public sessions only and cannot be used for private parties, events, or school/preschool bookings.

    Redemption

    • Play Passes are redeemed at the time of booking through our online booking system (Bookwhen).

    • You will receive a unique code or account credit to apply at checkout for your sessions.

    • Play Passes can be used at any of our Christchurch locations, subject to availability.

    Validity

    • Play Passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

    • Unused sessions after expiry are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.

    Transfers & Refunds

    • Play Passes are non-refundable.

    • They are non-transferable and can only be used by the person who purchased them, unless otherwise agreed by Tiny Town.

    • If a booked session is missed, standard session transfer rules apply (minimum 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability).

    Cancellations by Tiny Town

    • If Tiny Town must cancel a session, your credit/pass use will be returned, and you can rebook at no extra charge.

  • Tiny Town Limited – Refund Policy

    At Tiny Town, we understand that plans can change. We strive to be fair while ensuring our sessions and events run smoothly for everyone.

    Public Play Sessions

    • All bookings are non-refundable.
      If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another session provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice and subject to availability.

    • Missed sessions without notice are non-transferable and non-refundable.

    • If Tiny Town must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.

    Private Parties & Events (Schools/Preschools)

    • Full payment is required at the time of booking.

    • Cancellation terms:

      • More than 14 days before your event: Refund available, minus a $50 administration fee.

      • 7–14 days before your event: 50% refund of the total amount paid.

      • Less than 7 days before your event: No refund.

    • If Tiny Town cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

    Illness Policy

    • If your child is unwell, please contact us at least 24 hours before your session or event. We may be able to offer a transfer to a future date if space allows, but refunds are not available due to illness.
